Ponte Arcari

Ponte Arcari is on the Herengracht, near the Utrechtsestraat. This small Italian restaurant is, not surprisingly, nearly always full. In the tiny kitchen really delicious classic Italian food is prepared: carpaccio, vongole, vitello tonnato, tiramisu all for a reasonable price. True, the service is slightly chaotic, with customers elbow-to-elbow but that's what gives the authentic Italian atmosphere.
