Description
Kaagman & Kortekaas is inspired by the contemporary Parisian bistro, but is nestled in the heart of old Amsterdam within walking distance from Dam square and Central Station. The small menu changes on a weekly basis, and is highly dependent upon seasonal, fresh ingredients.
Bistronomie in Amsterdam
The chefs prepare dishes with wild meat, poultry and seafood, so don&rsquo:t be surprised if there are no vegetarian options on the set menu. Kaagman &: Kortekaas is following the Bistronomie trend, which is gastronomy in the style of the bistro. The movement began some years ago in Paris, and has begun to slowly spread in the Netherlands. The concept is good food, without the formal silverware and stiff upper lip.
